Character Name: TK
Fandom: Angel Beats
Age/Gender: around 17, Male
Canon Point: episode 8
History: Angel Beats wikia
Personality: TK's world is an overflowing abundance of song. He dances to his own rhythm, to the soundtrack that's always playing in his mind. He's often seen dancing to no particular song, but sticking with some sort of beat or switching between them. TK loves dancing. It's rare to see him sitting still, but even those moments aren't of solid stillness; he's often tapping a toe or moving his hands about. Even his calm, empty-faced demeanor is accompanied with the swishing of his hands or a foot swinging at the ankle. The closest he's ever come to sitting still was sitting in a classroom, but even then his arms didn't stop moving.
He's actually rather quiet. He doesn't speak much, except for a few quotes or simple phrases, such as "Alright, let's go", or Schwarzenneger's "I'll be back". When he does speak, it's typically meaningful or oddly placed in a group conversation. His catchphrase is "get chance and luck", which he says to inspire a hopeful feeling in the SSS members he's with. Though, despite all of the English quotes TK spouts, he actually does not know English much at all. He's good with song lyrics and simpler phrases, but other than that, he's pretty hopeless in being fluent. Hell, he's hopeless in any conversation.
However, a good thing about TK is that he's a good friend and a noble sacrifice. In sticky situations, he'll have no problem going for first death, saluting with his catchphrase before jumping to his death. When his friends are in trouble, whether he's a bit late or not, TK will jump from some bizarre height to make a flashy entrance, but only if it's helpful. He doesn't like seeing his friends hurt, so he doesn't mind going in first and sacrificing himself, or playing bodyguard if the situation calls for it. Most times, because he's so active, they give him the easier roles to play in their plans, like watching someone's back or playing distraction.
He's typically calm, besides the movement, and doesn't mind slowing down on his dances to teach others. In fact, he tutored Matsuhita in quite a few of his individual moves, and he patiently repeats them or moves slower to help his friends. Not just that, but he'll volunteer for just about anything if they need him. Overall, he's pretty friendly, even though he will definitely come off as an oddball at first glance; if you can get past the dancing, he's actually pretty entertaining company.
Special Abilities: TK doesn't have anything extraordinary. He's speedy and agile on his feet, and he's amazing with firearms, with a sharp aim and easy dodging maneuvers. Capable of doing headspins without getting very dizzy, TK's trained himself to be able to spin while maneuvering somewhere as well as handling weapons. Most of his skill comes from shooting or hands-on ability, but he can easily be killed.
How did your character die? While not canonly known, TK's death is being theorized as being a freak accident. An upcoming breakdancer, TK was testing out a few new sick moves, one dangerous move involving handspins on the railing of the high school building's outdoor staircase, and it ended in disaster when he lost his grip and fell down two floors, landing on his neck and dying upon impact. He still dances to this day because he didn't want it to end that way, and he doesn't know how to stop.
Other:

Also, I should probably add that 90% of TK's dialogue will be in incoherent song lyrics and unfitting dance moves. And maybe leg-flying.

First Person:
[Another world after death? TK's rather surprised at this; just as he came to terms with his own ending, he woke up in another place that wasn't the blissful, shiny heaven, or as some reincarnated self--after all, you don't remember those forms, do you?--with a swirling cloud and a sky full of stars. At first glance, he thinks it is the kind, relaxing world, but then he looks down at the crest still on his uniform.
"Rebels against the god", it still reads.
So they're not done yet? A quick glance around or two leads him to believe that this is probably a new layer. He'd just have to find Yuri and head back out, wherever they're going. Really, he's got no problem just following. Or, if he's supposed to be here, just waiting.
The starts are pretty, after all. A large spread of night sprinkled with an infinite number of lights. He smiles, hands moving back and forth in front of him as he stares upward, walking carefully around the person reclining in front of him.]
Just... wild heaven.
Third Person:
Dancing, TK knew, was an art form. It was the type of style that didn't always need words, since the tunes of an instrumental could carry the beat as well as any repetitive pop song. Each song had a different effect on the body, and each melody made TK want to move. The beat just went through every vein in his body and set his nerves in motion. It was this impulse to dance that had Yuri testing yet another potentially evasive maneuver in the SSS's Dance Diversion Tactic... which, like last time, turned into TK dancing.
But today was no ordinary dancing. No, instead, he was hoisted by ropes which were bound to the corners of Headquarters to keep him upright... upside-down. It was a test of gravity, a test of courage, and a test of skill to see if TK could keep the beat and moonwalk on the ceiling. The first test was a bit of a failure, as Otonashi dropped the rope and he crash-landed onto Matsushita and almost risked a respawn, and the second wasn't much better. But third time, as Hinata nursed a bloody nose and a set of pillows had been compiled underneath him, TK just let the beat overtake him. With the ropes secure and the headband keeping the hair from his face--despite the fact that gravity would have kept it away anyway--TK just tested out his wiggles and spins, at one point even twisting past the ropes to so a mini headspin...
Okay, that was a little disorienting. It was had being upside-down while not actually being upside-down, and the rope was starting to burn. It was stupid spinning this fast, but he was getting into the mood. It was like a space song, just like the Dark Side of the Moon. He loved it so much, just humming a little tune to himself as he wiggled about, possibly impressing the other members of the SSS but honestly not caring. He just wanted to move, so he did--
Well, until he snapped one of the ropes, hit the ground, snapped his neck, and went to The Great Gig in the Sky... for a few hours. He was just relieved he was back for dinner!
Did you read the rules and F.A.Q.? Three times, yep!
